美國阿拉斯加大雪，其中一個叫做「科多瓦」的小鎮，更是整個被大雪給圍困，很多居民的屋頂都被大雪給壓垮，被困在自己家裡，動彈不得，最後還出動軍隊和消防隊，把居民救出來，而歐洲的奧地利西部，也是大雪成災，陸路交通完全癱瘓，很多渡假村的遊客被大雪困住，無法離開，當局也擔心部分滑雪場有發生雪崩的危機。
